It’s the first thing your guests see – a warm, bright and welcoming hallway leading them into the heart of your home. With nearly 400 colors to choose from, your entrance can be as grand or as tranquil as you like. Open it up with light colors such as cream and charmingly simple off-white tones that add warmth and a sense of freshness to your hallway. Or perfectly partner your authentic black-and-white chequer tile floor with heritage colors such as sage green or navy blue accented with white paint to lift it. Introduce a touch of contemporary chic with a warm gray that not only feels inviting but gives you that sense of space too, even in a narrow hallway.
Go for neutral tones and you can turn your simple hallway into a gallery, displaying some fabulous wall art that captures your personality. Add in some beautifully framed family photos and you have a truly personal space that feels as if it’s welcoming you home every time you step through the door. Finish off with a strategically positioned wall mirror that can make your small corridor seem much larger.
Are your paints water or oil based?
Each of our paints are water-based, which means they are all low odour and have a lower VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) level than any oil-based paints. It also means they are extremely quick drying, meaning you can get more out of your project in less time. Volatile Organic Compounds contribute to atmospheric pollution when they evaporate (when the paint dries), and they can be found in chemicals used across many industries such as soaps, building materials, and cleaning products.
What’s the difference between your everyday emulsion and resistance ultra durable matt emulsion?
Our Everyday Emulsion has a slight sheen. Our Resistance Ultra Flatt Matte Durable Emulsion has a 1% sheen level with Class:1 Scrubbable classification. But what does this actually mean? Our Resistance Ultra Durable Matte Emulsion is so tough that it will keep its luxurious flat matte finish even after cleaning. That’s right—no lifting paint, leaving white marks, or burnishing when you clean it. It is brilliant for high traffic areas such as hallways and living rooms because of its durability and resistance to bumps and knocks. Our Everyday Emulsion is more suited to lower traffic areas such as spare bedrooms or studies and is perfect for use on any ceilings. Please note: whilst our paints are dry to the touch within a matter of hours, water-based paints take approximately 28 days to fully cure. This is when the paint is 100% dry and has reached its full hardness/durability. Until the paint has fully cured, it will not withstand knocks or wiping/cleaning.
