With over 50 different shades of gray at Graham & Brown, it’s plain to see that this versatile color has far more to offer than you might first think. From warm greys with red undertones to cool hues shot through with icy blue, gray is one of the most flexible and adaptable palettes for both traditional and chic modern homes. The subtlety of each variant brings a whole new level of sophistication into any décor, creating a balanced look with plenty of character.
Blue perfectly partners cooler grays in contemporary bathrooms or in a home office where simplicity and a calm, focused ambience are essential to boost productivity. Perfectly partner a warm-tone gray with pink to create a welcoming hallway or serene bedroom, or add a soft dove gray with neutral base tones to a green living room as an accent colour. A dash of duck egg with a cool grey makes an interesting choice in a bathroom or kitchen, where the pastel tone of the duck egg is given a little more emphasis by the understated nature of gray paint. Versatile, practical and an excellent companion to modern wallpaper, gray is an on-trend choice in any home.
Are your paints water or oil based?
Each of our paints are water-based, which means they are all low odour and have a lower VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) level than any oil-based paints. It also means they are extremely quick drying, meaning you can get more out of your project in less time. Volatile Organic Compounds contribute to atmospheric pollution when they evaporate (when the paint dries), and they can be found in chemicals used across many industries such as soaps, building materials, and cleaning products.
