Broaden your horizons when it comes to perfectly partnering green curtains with harmonizing colors. While you may instinctively want to go for earthy tones such as brown paint or a matching green paint to bring out the subtle hues of your curtains, try something a little different. Turn a spare bedroom into a bold, modern space with pink paint and delightfully light green bedroom curtains festooned with summer meadow flowers. Or reinvent your main bedroom with a regal combination of soft sage green curtains and a rich, deep purple paint.
Bring a fresh, clean feel to a bathroom by combining white paint for a natural look and green bathroom curtains that look good and provide you with plenty of privacy. A wonderfully rustic 'country cottage' ambience can be achieved in a kitchen by combining green kitchen curtains featuring floral or botanical prints with earthy brown paint and a complementary dash of green or golden yellow. For a more contemporary interior, choose green curtains with a bold geometric design and partner them with neutral paint for a simple, uncluttered look that still has a welcoming and relaxed character.
What lining do I need for my curtains?
We offer various lining options for our made to measure curtains. Each has its own practical properties while also enhancing the overall look and feel.
- Our standard lining is the most affordable option and is used solely to enhance and give your main fabric a backing, helping to protect the fabric from direct sunlight by filtering out the light in the room whilst also creating a nice drape. This light filtering option is lightweight and produces a soft natural glow in daylight hours. Available in ivory.
- Our satin finish lining is medium weight that gently filters out light whilst creating an improved drape and finish. Satin lining is available in ivory and white.
- Our blackout/thermal lining is a specialised heavyweight lining option and our top pick to eliminate light from the room when drawn. It also helps protect the main fabric from direct sunlight to avoid fading. Our blackout/thermal lining helps keep the room cool in summer by reducing the amount of light dispersing into the room, and during those colder months, it helps retain heat, making this a fantastic choice for bedrooms. Other benefits include reducing energy consumption and noise pollution. This option is ideal for windows and doors with a draft and gives a beautiful drape and finish. Our blackout/thermal lining is available in two colours, ivory and white.
- Interlined curtains contain an extra layer of lining that is placed between your main curtain fabric and the backing/lining. The interlining provides greater thermal efficiency and gives your curtains more body. This is a great option if you want your curtains to have a fuller look, creating a more opulent and luxurious feel.
What kind of fabric is used to make your curtains?
Will there be joins in my Curtains?
Larger curtains will require a join in the fabric. Curtains over 1260mm wide will have a single seam in the fabric. If your fabric contains a pattern, the panels will be pattern matched across the seams.
Are blackout and thermal curtains the same product?
