Sage is one of those colours that simply fits into any home, any room, and any space. Gorgeously understated, beautifully subtle and with a timeless elegance, it also perfectly partners with so many other tones on the colour wheel. Sage curtains add that little swish of sophistication to a traditional living room, where it complements a pastoral wallpaper or a wildflower meadow signature wall. Bring the soft green tones of a rustic wall mural to the fore with a combination of charming sage curtains and earthy colours such as brown paint. Or add a burst of natural energy into a kitchen with sage kitchen curtains and a dash of mustard paint.
For a more on-trend and beautifully understated look, sage curtains perfectly partner neutral paint or the refinement of grey paint with warm undertones. The key takeaway with sage is that it transcends fads and fashions, blending effortlessly into both period and modern homes. All our sage curtains are made to measure and to your exact specifications. With a wealth of beautiful designs and drapes, including pencil pleats, eyelets and our new Wave design, they bring that finishing touch to your home.
What lining do I need for my curtains?
We offer various lining options for our made to measure curtains. Each has its own practical properties while also enhancing the overall look and feel.
- Our standard lining is the most affordable option and is used solely to enhance and give your main fabric a backing, helping to protect the fabric from direct sunlight by filtering out the light in the room whilst also creating a nice drape. This light filtering option is lightweight and produces a soft natural glow in daylight hours. Available in ivory.
- Our satin finish lining is medium weight that gently filters out light whilst creating an improved drape and finish. Satin lining is available in ivory and white.
- Our blackout/thermal lining is a specialised heavyweight lining option and our top pick to eliminate light from the room when drawn. It also helps protect the main fabric from direct sunlight to avoid fading. Our blackout/thermal lining helps keep the room cool in summer by reducing the amount of light dispersing into the room, and during those colder months, it helps retain heat, making this a fantastic choice for bedrooms. Other benefits include reducing energy consumption and noise pollution. This option is ideal for windows and doors with a draft and gives a beautiful drape and finish. Our blackout/thermal lining is available in two colours, ivory and white.
- Interlined curtains contain an extra layer of lining that is placed between your main curtain fabric and the backing/lining. The interlining provides greater thermal efficiency and gives your curtains more body. This is a great option if you want your curtains to have a fuller look, creating a more opulent and luxurious feel.
What kind of fabric is used to make your curtains?
Will there be joins in my Curtains?
Larger curtains will require a join in the fabric. Curtains over 1260mm wide will have a single seam in the fabric. If your fabric contains a pattern, the panels will be pattern matched across the seams.
Are blackout and thermal curtains the same product?
